Ann Guyton Obituary

GUYTON, Ann Maree, 88, of Richmond, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - "GeGe", passed into the arms of the angels Saturday, April 6, 2024. She is survived by her four children, Patricia A. Thompson, Stuart U. Guyton Jr., Sharon G. Lalik (Henri), and Sandra D. Guyton-White (Kenneth); five grandchildren, Brandi, Chris, Sierra (Adam), Ethan, and Avhlee; and seven great-grandchildren, Heaven, Mariah, Caleb, Caitlyn, Liam, Lilyana, and Levi. Ann Maree is also survived by three of her four siblings: James S. Paul Jr. (Kathy), Robert E. Carroll, and Barbara Ann Crocker - along with her dearest friend and companion, Samuel E. Guill. Ann Maree was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ethel Bucher and James Carlisle Collins; her father, James S. Paul Sr.; her beloved husband of 53 years, Stuart U. Guyton Sr.; two grandsons: C. Duane King and Nicholas E. King, and her sister, Rita Alice King.

Family will receive friends at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Woodman Road, followed by interment at Riverview Cemetery.
