My Condolences to the Moreno family. It brings me deep sadness to have just learned of my uncle's passing. I have many fond memories of the times my father and I spent with my uncle Robert, aunt Mary and my cousins. I can still remember clearly, the times my uncle gave my dad and I rides in the Thornton fire truck, the times we spent listening to the scanner radios, and the time we attended the Lodi Street Rod Show at the Grape Festival. These and many other memories with my uncle and his family I will cherish for the rest of my life. I have missed all of you very much over the years, and I will continue missing you until my own final day . I have no words to express the sorrow I feel about our loss of such a great man who's influence on my life still lingers to this day. Because I enjoyed the rides in my uncle Robert's 1967 Ford Falcon so much as a kid, I bought myself one when a close friend who had one passed away. This is only one of the examples of how the short but sweet times I got to spend with my uncle has influenced me. I will remember you fondly for as long as I live Uncle Robert.

So very sorry to hear this news. Sending our condolences and prayerful thoughts to be with you through this time. To all of his family, Mary, Ana, Lena, and Donna, and spouses, and all of his extended family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. I have such wonderful memories of Bob and all of you (then children), his beautiful family. Bob would come by frequently to my dad´s Chevron station across the street from the firehouse several times a week, sometimes whether it was the aftermath from a fire call or just stopping by to say hello and or to get fuel, and along with all the memories of your whole family (and there are many) and seeing you all in and around town for many years. I remember the school bus, stopping in front of the gas station daily dropping off Jr. and all you sisters except for Donna, (was just a baby then)... These are all very fond memories that I feel so very fortunate to have in my heart... Bob was always a very fine and kind gentleman and had immense love for his family. What a wonderful way to always be remembered... From: Johnny De Herrera Jr., a member of your Thornton, family of friends.... Sending much love to the entire Moreno family...
