Lisa Simons Obituary

Lisa Simons, born on February 25, 1964, in Oakland, California, passed away on March 25, 2025, in Manteca, surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Martinez, grandson Angel Martinez and her daughter, Marrí Martinez Baker, who will forever hold a special place in her heart. Lisa is survived by her two cherished children, Eddie Guerrero and his wife, Anna, and her daughter, Ashley Guerrero Torres, and her husband, Kevin. She was blessed with a beautiful family, including her adored grandchildren: Joseph, Xaviour, Sonnie, Angel, Eliyanah, Marri, Kourage, Faith, Natalie, Charlotte, Eddie, Kevin, Adriana, and Amari, as well as her precious great-grandchild, Scarlett. As a dedicated event planner for 15 years, Lisa poured her creativity and passion into making special moments unforgettable for others. Her love for cooking, gardening, and arts and crafts brought joy to not only her but to her family and friends. Family was of utmost importance to Lisa; she loved her grandchildren unconditionally, always putting their happiness first. Her warm heart and vibrant personality touched all who knew her.
