Robert H. Corbett died at his home on Feb. 7, 2016. He was born on Nov. 14, 1918, the middle brother of three boys to a family that settled in the Willits Valley in the 1880's. To Robert Corbett family; Our condolence for the passing of a great teacher. I had his class in Civic in 1952 and enjoyed his comments on American society. He was a wonderful teacher and I still remember is witty remarks on Democracy. God Bless and a safe journey.

In the 60s I had two semesters of psychology from Mr. Corbett and helped with his office work. What a droll and dry sense of humor he had. I never knew I could laugh and learn so much in the classroom. He was great!!

Well, I had Dr. Corbett for Psych one summer and he was great. Later I registered his classes and he became a good friend. Always had a happy greeting for you and such a sweetheart. Will be greatly missed.

My Condolences and Sympathy to The Corbett Family. I had him in 1967 for Psycology, and he had a brilliant mind and fun way of teaching it. A favorite class at Sierra College.

My mother Kathryn was part of the Akins clan (Joe, George, Tom, Betty)from Willits. From the stories they told, they were good friends of the Corbetts growing up. I remember going to Arden Park in the 1950's for.a visit (I was about 10). The Akins had moved to Sacramento in 1940s but stayed in touch with a number of people with whom they grew up, especially at the Willits Rodeo.

Willits had some great, and very smart kids, who had a lot of fun growing up together. It is sad to see another member of that group pass away. William Taylor
