April 3, 1931 in Attapulgus, Georgia, God delivered one of his most unique creations into the arms of the late Annie Youmans and John Lee Allen. They names their son Robert Lee Allen. He attended Gadsden County Public Schools and furthered his education at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical College for Negroes know as FAMU as a Barber by trade.
During his formative years, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at St. Hebron A.M.E. Church in Quincy, Florida In the early 1950's he relocated to Altamonte Springs, FL where he met Shirley. Their friendship blossomed into love. They shared laughter and memories. Their love story lasted for sixty-seven years. They were blessed with 7 children from this union. He later continued his walk with Christ by becoming a faithful and dedicated member of New Bethel A.M.E. Church and remained faithful until he departed.
