Randall Hayes Obituary

Randall Keith Hayes-Age 62, of Franklin, passed away February 17, 2022.
Randall was born and raised in Nashville and attended Hillwood High School. He went on to Nashville Tech and then began his career in the HVAC industry.
Randall was truly one of a kind, and to know him was to love him. His family meant everything to him, and it was evident to anyone he talked to. He was a devoted husband and the most loving father to his three children. He loved to laugh and poke fun at those he loved, never met a stranger, and would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. Always full of advice, he usually offered up at least 5 different ways to solve a problem or get somewhere.
He was a grill master, could fix anything, and absolutely loved watching his kids play their various sports over the years. He never missed a football or baseball game of Craig and Chris' over the years, and his garage is still stuffed with remnants of years of childhood sports. Cassie's softball career was a passion of his, and he and Renee spent much of their time traveling near and far to watch her play in high school, for travel ball, and currently for Freed-Hardeman University.
Randall was absolutely crazy about his "girls," his three young granddaughters who think he hung the moon. They all got their sweet tooth honestly and loved eating ice cream sandwiches and sundaes together when they came to visit. His reach was far and wide, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his wife, Karen Bass Hayes; parents, Dorothy and Odie Hayes. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Renee Hayes; children Craig Hayes (Melissa), Chris Hayes (Riley) & Cassie Hayes; granddaughters, Leighton, Collins and Connor; several extended family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
A Life Celebration will be held 2:30pm, Tuesday. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of SM Lawrence Nashville Office. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm, Monday and 12:30-2:30pm, Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221, harpethhills.com, 615-646-9292
