SPRINGFIELD
Carlos Landrau, 93, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at home. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, son of the late Carlos and Maria (Ruiz) Landrau, he lived in Springfield for 55 years. Carlos was a retired iron worker for the Iron Workers Union Local 357. He was also an army veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Angelina (Rodriguez) Landrau died on March 22, 2022. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Andrea Landrau. He leaves two sons, Carlos Landrau, Jr. and his wife Madeline Landrau, Rafael and his wife Glenda Padilla-Landrau, a daughter, Xiomara Landrau and her husband Edwin Rivera, all of Springfield, a brother, Pedro Landrau Florida, a sister, Virginia DeJesus of Long Island, NY, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Calling hours for Carlos and his late wife, Angelina are Monday, January 29, 2024 from 9-11am at the Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield, followed by a service at 11am.
