As a rowdy kid at the family parties who sometimes felt out of place, I´d look to Umar Uncle and would immediately feel the compassion and love he exudes. That smile of his is truly indelible and I often sensed a telepathic and reassuring wink on his face that made me feel at ease.
Sending love and condolences to Seemi, Hafsa Azmi, Asima, the grandkids, and the entire family during these difficult times.
Love,
Dariush

Lovely human being! Great individual, he is deeply missed. Our early memories of him are he talking about Aligarh in conversations we had after Juma. He holds a special place for us, use to recite Farsi ashar and I grew up hearing them from my father. Last we met him was in summer of 2022. We are proud that he was part of our life and continues to be.
May he get the highest place in Jannat, Ameen.
Sincerely, Hina and Faisal.

It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to our dear cousin, Umar. He was a brilliant individual whose kindness and intelligence touched everyone he met. Umar was not only an exceptional person but also a loving husband to Seemi and a devoted father to their three beautiful daughters, Hafsa, Azmi, and Aasima. His love for his family and his dedication to them were evident in everything he did.
Umar's presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.
With heartfelt condolences,Irfan, Nasreen, and Nazia

Very sad to hear about Umar, he was just a good guy. I only met him a few times over the years I've known him and Seemi and he made an incredible impression each time! A very warm and nice guy all around. I also joined them for dinner with friends at their house many yrs ago and everything they made was absolutely delicious. They were also very warm and hospitable folks!

My earliest memory of mamo is that of my mother talking fondly about her younger brother whom she missed dearly. I grew up listening to stories of all three younger siblings being a trio, engaging in mischief, playing together, and learning together.
Mamo was a beautiful soul inside out - radiating kindness. No one ever felt out of place in his company, he knew how to take everyone along in conversations, love unconditionally, guide and teach all at the same time.
Mamo loved mangoes and well, never shared one with me :), i remember cooking the hoofs of a cow, when he visited us last - we both savored the meal that evening. Him taking us along even if he had the smallest of errand to run and my mother and him sharing stories in the car from their childhood - them singing songs, recalling poetry and poems that their bua (nanny) used to sing to them.
He and i talked about urdu literature and his childhood days in Barabanki - we laughed and shared memories. i'm going to miss him so much. But i know he is in a much better place with all his loved ones. I can almost imagine my mother and him engaging in their playful banter even now, just as they used to enjoy. He must be very happy to meet both his elder brothers whom he dearly missed.
My heartfelt prayers for all his loved ones seeking strength and solace during these challenging times. May you be comforted by the love and support of those around you - we all love you and you are always in our prayers.

I was so sad to hear that Uncle Umar passed away. He was such a kind man. I remember when I was about 7 or 8 years old, and I lost my parents during an Eid function at Masjid Noor. He took me by the hand and helped me find my parents. When I got older during my teen years, I was fortunate to learn that he would be my teacher for Youth Group at the masjid. May Allah grant him the highest abode in Jannat, and may Allah give saber to his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened to hear about passing of Umar uncle. My first memory was meeting him iand his lovely family in 1993 on Halloween when he was juggling giving candies at the door and entertaining us as his guests. He later became my Sunday school teacher and helped us answered challenging questions that we had about Islam. My heartfelt condolences and duas for Seemi aunti, Hafsa, Azmi and Asma.

My last memory of brother Umar was making Jerk Chicken for him which he loved. He was a very dignified man, a loving husband and father and a cherished member of the Al Noor community. He will be missed.
