Diane (LaBrecque) Barker, 81, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on August 13, 1943, in Concord, New Hampshire.

Diane attended Penacook High School in Penacook, New Hampshire, where she excelled both academically and athletically, earning letters in cheerleading and basketball.

She shared a loving life of 60 years with her husband, Donald, and was a devoted mother to Dawn "Dondi" Silcock and her husband David. She also held a special place in her heart for her daughter-in-law, Julie Barker. Diane was a cherished grandmother to Jackie Pearl and her husband Argenis Peña; Charlie Pearl and his wife Raven; Jake Barker; and Daniel Barker. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren Roman Peña, Noemi Peña, Ella Pearl, and Benjamin Pearl. She is also survived by her sisters Joan Miner; Roseanna Matott; Suzanne Rayno and her husband Richard; Lu-ann Lamb and her husband Harold; and her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" LaBrecque. Diane's warmth touched the lives of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime family friends Dick and Kathy Bolduc.

She was preceded in death by her parents Armand and Rita (Gibeau) LaBrecque; her son Donald "Buzz" Barker; her brother Armand LaBrecque Jr.; her mother-in-law Annie "Nana" (Wilcox) Barker; and by brother-in-laws Ernest Miner, Clifford, "Dusty" Matott, and William, John, and Willis Barker.

Diane found joy in life's simple pleasures-golfing on sunny days, playing Bunko with friends, and gathering for family meals filled with laughter, especially her grilled cheese and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Her kind and caring nature left an indelible mark on those who knew her, as did her contagious laugh that could brighten any room.

May Diane's memory bring comfort to all who loved her.

Im so sorry to hear of Diane's passing.
Don and her came to my estate sales.
She was always so funny and sweet and kind to me and to Russ.
Im in total shock that she has left us.
I saw Don today and we just heard the news..
I hugged him so much and see the sadness in his eyes..
She was a beautiful person and they loved each other so much..May she rest in peace..
Please watch over Don and his family as the days go by..

We were so saddened by the passing of Diane and want to send our deepest sympathies to Don and family. Diane´s smile could light up a room and her laugh will stay with me forever. We will always remember our motorcycle rides to Vt for corn, our skiing trips to Bretton Woods and all the fun we had getting together with the group. Rest in Peace Di. We will remember you always

I will her terribly. She is the sweetest soul any one would have met. She always greeted you with a smile. I love visiting and talking with her.
