Beloved husband of 46 years to Mary M. (Morrison) Gehring. Devoted father of Jennie and Kenny (Lacey) Gehring. Loving grandfather of ShyAsia, Alanna, Andrew, Benjamin, Christopher and great grandfather of Kehlani and Jasiah. Son of the late Roy and Lucille (nee Bauman) Gehring. Dear brother of Kenneth (Diane) Gehring, Linda Gehring, Jack (late Mary Ann) Gehring, Janet (Bernie) Haynes, Michael (late Cheryl) Gehring, Kathie (Frank) Capozzi, Carol (Edward) Dobo and the late Patrick Gehring. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Thursday from 4-7 PM. Where funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory to Hospice Foundation of WNY. Please share condolences at www.mertzfh.com

Time slipped away and I searched for you today. Here I learned my fun-loving cousin, (aka, Bill Bailey when we were kids) has joined our family in Heaven. I have cherished those childhood memories from so long ago. Our dads were brothers. We were family. With memories from our young lives, not forgotten. Love ya,
