Owen Stephen Alfred:
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Timaru Hospital on February 10, 2021; aged 78. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Doreen. Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Sandy and Richard Freeman, Phillip, Jackie and Dom Collaud, David and Angela, and Robyn Ellen and Paul Batten. Treasured Grandad and Great-Grandad to all his grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Garry (dec) and Mary, Royce and Helen, Lois Clark, and Norm Clark (dec), and the late Ted, and Sandra, and dear friend to many. Due to Owen's wishes a private cremation has been held. Special thanks to Dr Rob Helliwell for his care and friendship, Dr Magda Sakowska, and the staff at I.C.U., especially Elizabeth.
