Mr Button taught me English in Singapore in 1990. He was very patient man with a quiet and subtle sense of humour. My prayers and thoughts are with you always.

To John's family. With great sympathy for your sad loss. It was a pleasure and privilege to know John and be part of the Pickwickian literary group he was a key member of. He was a prolific and excellent writer and poet, who will be very much missed.
