PIERCY,
Thomas Kenneth (Ken):
The family of Ken Piercy would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support, kind words, flowers, cards, gifts and thoughts for the passing of our much loved husband, dad, brother, uncle, great-uncle, Grumpy Grandpa, great-grandpa, respected friend and colleague. He is now free (or rather still expensive as his horses keep racing) running the race of his life at the Phar Lap Raceway Timaru with our thanks to the Shand family and Timaru Harness Racing for making that possible. We would like to thank the staff at Strathallan Life Care for your devotion, love and care of our great man while he was with you, this means so much more to us than words can express. We would also like to thank the ladies at Aoraki Funeral Home for all their support and assistance in making Dad's wishes come true. Our thanks to Jo Taylor of Taylored Moments for her celebration service and most particularly her racing commentary of his last race! You all did Dad proud, his smile is so wide and we can just hear his chuckle as New York Minute carried the day! For all of those who were greeted by "Underground Airways and Overland Shipping" or in the later years "You're Looking Well" instead of a plain "Hello" when he answered the phone! Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement of our gratitude.
Forever in our Hearts
and Minds, your humour
lives on in us.
