William Payne (Bill):
On Monday, August 17, 2015, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Kathy, loved father and father-in-law of David and Mela, and Kate Malcolmson, loved grandfather of Becky, Sadie, Harry, and Ivy. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late John, Trisha and Ken, Richard and Elizabeth, Alison and Brian, Norman and Stephanie, Matt and Shelley, and Anna, also a loved brother-in-law of all the Fitzgerald Family. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Bill Greenslade, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Funeral Service for Bill will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, This Day (Saturday), at 2.00pm.

Sorry for your loss. I remember mr greenslade teaching me as a graduate nurse at timaru hospital. He was a lovely man.

I was very lucky to know Bill and enjoy his delightful company in Dunedin, other parts of NZ and Chelmsford. He will be remembered for his service to surgery from Africa to Timaru, his pleasant avuncular manner, his quick wit, and for his unique apple crumble. My sincere sympathy to Kathy, and Bill's family.

Dear Bill,always a Gentleman. Wonderful memories of days at Aquinas Hall, bouncing around in his old chev, hunting in fiordland,flatting at heriot row and later, post-graduate days in London.
It was such a privilege to have Bill as a friend,class-mate, flatmate and colleague.
