William FLETT Obituary

Peacefully and unexpectedly, surrounded by love on September 9, 2025; aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Maureen. Adored and respected father and father-in-law of Simon and Karyn, Tanya and Steve, Dean and Kate. Beloved Poppy of Emily, Hayley, Jacob, Riley, Sophie, Lewis, Ashley, William, and Grace. Great-Grandad to be, beloved brother and brother-in-law, loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and dearly loved friend to many. A Service celebrating Bill's life will be held at Sacred Heart Basilica, 7 Craigie Avenue, Timaru, on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. Messages to: The Flett Family, C/- PO Box 4091, Highfield, Timaru 7942.

I was shocked and saddened to read of Bill´s sudden passing.

He was always on for a good yarn, over a beer, and always took the time to ask how we were "getting on", even though we saw each other seldomly.
