Vincent SALOMON Obituary

SALOMON, Vincent:
Tragically taken from us on November 20, 2017. Loved and loving soulmate and friend of Penny Claridge. Kind and patient Papa to his little girls, Sylvie and Eloise.
A beautiful man.
A gentle soul.
He will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
His mother Maryse, father Louis, brother Damien and his family in France share the pain with Penny and her family. Vincent will always live on in our hearts. Much loved respectful, thoughtful and kind French son of Gay and Frank Claridge, dearly loved brother-in-law of Calvin, Glen, Stuart, Anna, Bronwyn, Frances and Mark. The quiet gentle Pied Piper uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
Forever free in his
beloved mountains.
A service to celebrate Vincent's life will be held at Omarino Wine Park, 638 Harewood Road, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Friday), at 11.00am.
Published by Timaru Herald from Nov. 22 to Nov. 23, 2017.

I had the pleasure of working with Vincent at the University of Otago Central Library when we were both students more than 15 years ago. Many a night was spent working on the reserve desk, sharing stories and discussing our hopes and dreams. My heartfelt condolences to his family both here and abroad.

My wife and I knew Vincent when he worked at Otago Uni's library - we will both remember him as a kind hearted person, and are very sad to hear this news. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family and friends. Sam and Mel Stevens, Dunedin, NZ.
