Val, thank you for all the hard work over many years working as Treasurer for the Waimate Christmas Carnival. I still remember the mornings when I would come to help with counting the takings and sorting that days money floats, with John opening the door and saying "What you grizzling about". And the night we were having a committee meeting and Val getting the phone call to say the twins had been born - the grin couldn't have been wider. Deepest sympathy to Jacki & Paul and the family of such a kind and gentle lady. RIP Val, the memories will live on for many years to come.

Thanks Val for your friendship and tireless work in helping to establish the Waimate District Resource Trust Inc. Your work certainly helped make the community a better place for many.
