Tony FIRMAN Obituary
Surrounded by loving family after a courageous battle, fought to the end, went peacefully at home on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Much loved youngest son of Marg and Rex (both deceased). Brother to Bruce (deceased). Much loved partner of Margaret (Maggie). Much loved dad of, Nigel and Charlotte, Vicky and Kyle, Shan and Josh, and Kyan. Special grandad Tony of Brooklyn, and Kenzie. Special friend of Monty the cat. A service for Tony will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, February 22, 2021, at 1.30pm. Please wear jeans and a T shirt and bring your sunglasses. Donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. To Maggie and family. Very shocked to hear of the sad passing of Toni. I have very fond and happy memories with both Maggie and Toni. Thanku for our trip to chch for the concerts and treating me like royalty. Always happy, welcoming and always the gentleman. My most sincere heartfelt sympathies.

To Maggie, family and friends.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Tony. He was both our instructor and later our boss while we were coming thru the ranks at RNZAF Base Woodbourne (many years ago!). The last time we caught up with Tony was after he left the RNZAF and was pouring beer in a bar in Timaru. We have fond memories of Tony, and are sad we can not be there to pay our respect to him.
(We do love the dress code for the funeral!).
