Passed away peacefully on December 13, 2013, at the Croft Rest Home, 12 Park Lane, Timaru, in his 90th year; Te mataamua o Thomas Joseph Tipa me Arapera Te Waru Tipa no Moeraki, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Rosetta Tipa (Timaru), much-loved father and father-in-law of Moana (Timaru), Deborah (Waimate), Matt and Rin (Christchurch), Rob and Stella (Portobello), Chris and Karen (Yarram, Victoria) and loved Poua of his grandchildren Nicki and Emma, Nigel, Jane, Mara Zoe, Hana and great-grandchildren.
