To the Taylor Family,
On behalf of the Northland Badminton Association, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Terry David Taylor.
Terry was a deeply respected and much-loved member of our badminton community. As President of Northland Badminton from 1985 to 1997, he played a pivotal role in shaping the sport in our region. His vision and dedication were instrumental in the development of the Northland Badminton Centre on Porowini Avenue — a project he helped bring to life through countless hours of volunteer work, fundraising efforts, and sheer determination.
Terry’s legacy continues to benefit generations of players, and his passion for badminton and community service will not be forgotten. More than his contributions, we remember Terry as a kind, generous man who gave so much to others.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. May you find comfort in knowing how deeply appreciated and admired Terry was by so many.
With deepest sympathy,
Shane Ringrose
