Teresa FRIEL Obituary

Passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at Strathallan Life Care, September 3, 2025. Daughter of the late Denis and Letitia Teahen. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) Joseph Friel. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Mandy, Clare, Kieran, Fr Christopher, Gerard and Natalie. Loved Nana, Great-Nana, Aunt and friend to many. Special thanks to all her carers and friends at Strathallan Rest Home. A Requiem Mass for Teresa will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Craigie Ave, Timaru, on Monday, September 8, at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Pleasant Point Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at the Sacred Heart Basilica on Sunday, September 7, at 6.00pm. Messages to 7 Craigie Avenue, Parkside, Timaru 7910.

To Clare and extended Friel Family.
Richard and I were very sad to hear of Teresa,s passing.
We will always remember Teresa as a wonderful gracious Lady, always beautifully dressed and of a happy disposition. Will be remembered by many for her entertaining with her awesome talent of playing the piano.
