C.M.T. 898032 11.06.1936 - 02.12.2023 It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share our grief of the passing of the most amazing, gentle and loyal person one could ever hope to meet. He was an absolutely devoted husband to the late Mihirau for 62 years, the best ever father to Sharyn and Phil Laurie, Gavin and Sharon, Tania and Richard Saifoloi, Carl and Janet, and Maania and Seete Tealei, and all his extended whanau. He was so proud of his 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and his great-great-grandson, whom he loved unconditionally. Terry also treasured his many friends and acquaintances and was always appreciative of the support and camaraderie from many, in particular those in the music industry, the RSA and his very special friend May. The piano has stopped playing, but the music lives on We invite you to celebrate Dad's life at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru, on Friday, December 8, at 10.30am, followed by an interment at Arowhenua. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John and can be left at the service. Messages to the family, c/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.
