Sidney SUTTON Obituary
Sid passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 27, 2023; in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Iris. Loved and respected father, father-in-law and mate of David and Daphne, Peter and Ace, Jennifer and David Barnes, Sandra (dec) and Gary Cordes. Kind Grandfather to Jasmine, and Dale; Jessica, and Samuel. Special Great-Grandad Sutton to Joshua, Kees, Lamani, and Gere. A big thanks to the caregivers and co-ordinators from Presbyterian Support who helped the family to care for Sid at his home. A service to celebrate Sid's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11.00am. Graham and I are so sorry to read the sad news of Sids passing we send our deepest sympathy to the family.

In memory of Sid, a leader and guide to a young fella starting out many years ago at the grain stores. Skilled, quick witted and very quick to keep me in line! He had a big impact on me and many young people that worked their way through the `store´, we owe him more than he would ever know.
