Shona WEIR Obituary

The Weir family wish to sincerely thank the large number who attended Shona's service at the Caroline Bay Hall to pay tribute to Shona and support our family. Thanks also to everyone that sent cards or placed on-line tributes, to our neighbours and friends who called into the house over the previous months, Shona valued your visits. Special thanks to Chrissy and her team at Timaru Hospital Oncology unit and Shona's specialist Peter Ganly, for their dedicated treatment and care over the last two years and The South Canterbury Hospice for their Respite Care. Thank you to The District Nursing Service for their home visits and Presbyterian Support Enliven Service for their home care visits which enabled Shona to stay in her own home. Betts Funeral Services for their faultless, caring and professional service. Many thanks to all who took part in Shona's last car run out past the farm, her home for the past 60 years and out to the crematorium for her committal, an awesome finale to Shona's farewell. Please accept this as a formal acknowledgement.
