To Joy, Diane, and Judith.
I spent a lot of time with Shona in our teenage years working at Watties and the dairy industry. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding. We had so much fun together, thankfully before social media. I loved her quick wit and willingness to try anything. I send my sincere condolences for the loss of a daughter and sister.

I was saddened of becoming aware of Shona's untimely recent death. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the members of her family at this sad time. Shona was a work colleague during our MAF (Dairy) and subsequent NZFSA days, an association I much appreciated for her support and advice. I also appreciated her kind words and photo's in her presentation at the farewell function on my retirement in 2008.

I'm thankful for having worked with Shona. She was a valued colleague and will be missed. I have gone to Shona for advice on a number of occasions, and she would provide really useful insights and background. She passed on a lot of knowledge and experience which will continue to be drawn on.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Shona in the early 1990´s when I was working in the dairy industry and have to say she was a lovely warm person always smiling and friendly. She always made you feel welcome and she had time to chat. I´ve seen her light up a dark meeting or inject life into an evening event put on by the dairy industry. I will really miss her.

The matriarch of our wider family. Always a cool head, organised and knew what to do. Also a load of fun at parties. Sorely missed.

Andy and family, I am sad to read this news. My favourite memory of Shona is from Christmas, where she would arrange an outing around the Timaru Christmas houses. Complete with wine and a platter we visited each house and had to judge them. The nativity scene was a key criteria. Fun memories of a beautiful human. In my thoughts xo
