Passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Jack Stoddart. A caring Mother to Margret and Robin; Elaine; Janice (dec) and Diane (dec). Cherished Grandma to Jeffrey (dec), Rikki (dec), Marinka, Amber and Carine. Dearly loved great-grandma to Evie, Hazel, Layton, Chelsea and Jack. A dear friend to all, Shirley will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt gratitude to the lovely staff at Strathallan Lifecare. A service will be held on Saturday 13 December (today) at Mainland Funeral Services, Latter Street, Timaru. Sorry to hear of your loss, but pleased to know that she went peacefully. My mother Berneice Parkes and Shirley are cousins and they spent a lot of their younger years together. I always remember her as such a very kind lady. My mum passed away in 2023, so they will both be talking about old times I'm sure.
