Shirley SHEED Obituary

Passed away peacefully at McKenzie Healthcare on Friday, January 2, 2026, in her 89th year. Cherished wife of the late John. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Robert (deceased), Nicky and John Donkers, Bronny and Richard Perkins, Hamish and Sue. Treasured Granny Shirl of Tomas, Sam, Hannah, Emily, Bridget, Jess, Tim and partners. Treasured Great-Gran of Angus, Maisie, Harper and Will. Loved special Auntie of Liz Lewis (nee Tubb) and all her other nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at St Mary's Anglican Church, Talbot Street, Geraldine, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by an interment at Geraldine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance, Geraldine, will be appreciated and can be made at the service. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff and caregivers at McKenzie Healthcare for their kindness, respect, and care shown to her and our family throughout her time there. Messages can be sent to Geraldine Funeral Services, 186 Talbot St, Geraldine.

Dear Shirley our neighbour and friend. I will miss her looking out to the carpark of McKenzie when I visited. Shirl had a full and fulfilling life, Barker's that she was such a large part of and the Winchester show committee were so very important to her as was her beloved John and her family.
