Shirley BALLANTYNE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Dearly loved wife of Arthur. Loved mum of Leslie, Mathew (dec), Eion, and Marcelane. Loved mother-in-law of Jill, Sharon, Donna, and Blair. Loved heaps by grandchildren Laura, and Jack; Sheldon, and Ned; Macauley, and Harvey; and Kynan, Davan, and Patterson. A private cremation has been held for Shirley, and a memorial service in Timaru will follow at a later date. Messages to 92A Avenue Road, Timaru 7910.

Sorry Arthur to hear of Shirley's passing.
I have memories of visiting the honey factory and being chased by bees with mum and dad. Condolences to you and your family.

Such a vibrant, chirpy, positive lady in her formative years. Shirley and June S. reconnected the friendship often, from early Otematata days bringing up families, to their elder years with wonderful Arthur keeping that friendship going. They will be back to their friendship now, flying free from their earthly states. Happiness, smiles, laughter. Shirley will be missed. My thoughts are with Shirley's family, and the dedicated caring Arthur. X
