Sarah JAMES Obituary

Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle, on February 10, 2026, aged 60 years. Dearly loved wife of Pete, loved mother of Abbey, Harry, Tim and Bella. Cherished daughter of Lorraine and Kevin (dec) Copeland, beloved sister of Richard and Janet and their families and the extended Copeland and James families. A service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held at The Lake Hayes Pavilion, 719 Lake Hayes-Arrow Junction Highway, on Friday, February 13 at 11.00am, followed by a light luncheon and drinks at the Arrowtown Community Centre / Rugby Club, 12 Centennial Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Queenstown. Special thanks to our friends and the Queenstown hospice team for all their amazing support. To Pete, Abbey, Harry, Tim and Bella. We are so sorry and sad to read of Sarah's passing. Such a beautiful wife, mum and friend to all. They were such great times in Timaru as Hannah and Abbey went through school together, and Sarah was such a fun and loving presence in that period. RIP now Sarah, and much love and thoughts to the extended James whanau. Brett and Anne Jenkins xo
