Ruth REID Obituary

Dear Ian, Hollie, Kai and Mr&Mrs D Stephens,
we are so sorry for your loss. It was a great privilege to be called a friend of Ruth, and we know she will be very missed.
We cannot express enough how sad we fell for you all. We will be praying for you all over the next weeks as you deal with your grief.

So sorry to read that Ruth has passed on. She fought that battle long, hard and graciously. I have been enriched by knowing her and all of you and I am deeply saddened that she will not be around any more especially for all of you. Kia kaha.

I had the pleasure of working with Ruth for a short time in timaru. She was so intelligent, passionate and generous with her time to me as a new emergency nurse.
She's one of those people you were glad to have crossed paths with.

Dear Ian, Hollie and Kai.
I was so sad to hear of the recent passing of your much-loved wife and mum!
I had the pleasure of meeting Ruth several times through the Foster family. She was always such a vibrant character with an open, caring, compassionate and warm personality. I have no doubt that she would have been an exceptional nurse and i know how much her fellow nurses will miss her!
I think her wishes to not wear black on Friday are very fitting and i hope you know your family will be in the thoughts, prayers and hearts of the local Timaru community for a very long time to come.
