Shocked to learn of Ro's passing. She was such an elegant woman and a pillar of her church and community. Clergy come and go, but Ro's ministry to all was lifelong and extraordinary. To say that she will be sorely missed is a gross understatement. A totara has fallen in Geraldine.

I was so saddened to hear of Ro's passing. Such a lovely caring lady. My family, especially my late mother Margaret had a long friendship with Ro and John through farming days and then living in Geraldine.
Think of you John and all your family at this very sad time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Acland when my parents church group ate their lunch on the back porch of the home. [ The plan was to eat on the lawn, after a service in the Acland's church, but it was rain off]. I asked for a cutting off her pink climbing rose on end of porch, which turned out was over 100yrs old. I cherich this rose, reminds me of this humble ladies generousity. Regards to family.
