Rosalie Naomi (Rosie):
Peacefully at Timaru Hospital on December 10, 2019; aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Suzanne and Fergus Crosbie, Andrew (Wigg) and Julie, and Ross and Susan. Loved Nana Rosie to Aimee, Dylan, and Tom; Sam and Nicole; and Abbey and Rachael, and Great-Nana Rosie to Iszak and Aliannah. A memorial service to celebrate Rosie's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Reception Lounge, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, December 30, 2019, at 1.00pm. My mum Yvonne Blaikie was a dear friend of Rosie and visited her at Walingford regularly after she shifted there before that they lived across the road from each for a long time and had a great friendship she will be missed.

I walk past Rosalie's room at Wallingford and I can't believe she has gone. I am so used to popping in for a yarn or to have a laugh with her. Rosalie always encouraged me, boosted my confidence and made me feel good about myself and the job I am doing as a caregiver. It was a privilege to know her and be part of her care team. I miss her already and will remember her with fondness.
