M.B., Ch.B., MNZM, MStJ Commander of the Order of St John, Fire Brigade Honorary Surgeon, President of NZ Medical Association.
Dearly loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, GP and friend to many in Temuka. Died peacefully in Timaru Public Hospital. At Rodger's request a private family service has been held. The retirement farewell he was given by the Temuka Community in 2010 was very generous and left a lasting and delightful memory. In lieu of flowers, donations to either St John, The Blind Foundation or Cancer Society would be a fitting tribute. Messages to the Hilliker family, c/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.
