It is with a huge amount of sadness, but in the end a blessed relief, we announce the passing of our very precious mum at Lister Home and Hospital on Friday, January 28, 2022; in her 86th year. A very much loved mother and mother-in-law of Judy and Stephen Rice, and Allan and Gail Laurie and her 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A service by invitation only will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Shearman Street, Waimate, on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at the Waimate Cemetery. I felt so very sad today to hear that Bobbie had passed away. I worked at the Waimate Information Centre for 8 years and loved the chats and time spent together. It's hard to imagine Waimate without her.
