Robert SHORTUS Obituary

Tragically passed away as the result of an accident, on Saturday, April 27, 2024; aged 51. Much loved partner of Kirsty. Precious youngest son of Neil and Lesley, treasured brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Heather, Jonathan and Lorraine, and admired uncle of his nephew and nieces. Utterly loved and respected role model to Tia and Scott. Mate to many. A Memorial Service celebrating Robert's life will be held at Waimate A&P Showgrounds Pavillion, 26 Hakataramea Highway, Waimate, on Friday, May 3 , at 2.00pm. A delayed stream of the service will be available, please email [email protected] or call 6862148. In lieu of flowers donations to the Waimate Fire Service would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. The family would like to express special thanks to the Emergency Services and community who assisted at the scene, and for their ongoing support.
