Robert ILES Obituary

RNZN Ret.
Born 1938 at Wallingford Home. Died in Timaru Hospital after a brief illness on 2.9.2024, at 86. A returned Temuka "lad".
Son of the Late Joyce and Lance, brother of the late Graeme and Francis Iles. Much loved husband to the late Wendy Iles and late Barbara Iles; father of Shaun and Tracy; Stepfather of Tracey and Andrea; Father-in-law of Tracy, Sally and Matt; Poppa of
Matthew, Jason, Alexander, Jorja, Mackenzie and the late Andrew. Big-Poppa of Braxton and Malaki.
A "character" that will be much missed.
A memorial service will be held at Galbraith's in Temuka at 10.00am Monday, September 9.

Passing on so much love to you.. all the school kids will miss seeing mr grumpsy at he´s gate for a yarn.. he was always up for a chat and always asked the kids at what they learnt at school today.. R.I.P Mr Grumpsy
