Peacefully at Elloughton Gardens on February 7 2024, surrounded by his family; in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Loved father and father-in-law of Raewyn and Stuart Hessell, and Bruce (dec). Treasured grandad of Stacey and Bruce Andrews, Brett and Tara Hessell, and Nick. Cherished great-grandad to his 7 great-grandchildren. Dear friend of Juanita, and Stu Heap and their sons. The Service celebrating Richie's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel,160 Mountain View Road, Timaru on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 11am, followed by a private burial.
