TE MAIHAROA,
Rangimarie:
Passed away peacefully at Lister Home, on Friday, April 17, 2015, aged 84, with his daughter Greta and sister Anne (Sis), nephew Pop, granddaughter Abby, and great-grandson Shaquille by his side. Dearly loved husband of the late Marie Frances (nee West). Cherished and respected father and father-in-law of Shane (Rae and Joanne), Robyn and Pauline, Greta and Shane. Much loved Poua of Jared and Shannan, Keita, Makere and Hunter, Te Aniwa. Doyle, Abby, Chelsey and Tom, and Great-Grandchildren, Deaqon, Cohen, Shaquille and Willow. A Service in Celebration of Rangi's Life will be held at 65 Timaru Road, Waimate, on Monday, April 20, at 10.30am, followed interment at the Te Aomarama Cemetery at approximately 2.30pm.

Thank you Lister Home for looking after our Dad on his last days. Thank you to all Whanau and Friends before and after the funeral we are forever grateful. Our Father was very strong right up to his last breath and will be very sadly missed. Thank you , thank you, thank you xo

Kia ora koutou Te Whanau, it is with sadness that I heard of Rangi's passing, and immediately reflected on a number of visits I made to his place in Falcon St while he passed on his beliefs / knowledge of culture & identity and mahinga kai gathering.
