Philip BARRETT Obituary

Thinking of you Aunty Chris at this very sad time.
Richard and I have fond memories of the time we shared with you in New Zealand, celebrating Uncle Phil´s 50th birthday, eating chocolate cake, visiting Auckland and the Coromandel and also when you came to see our new house in Chesterfield and we enjoyed a meal in Matlock, although I think the food was a bit too spicy for Uncle Phil.

Fond memories of a happy family childhood, growing up together, fishing you out of the water at Markeaton park waterfall, football rivalry as supporters of Leeds and Liverpool, being best man at each other's weddings to Susan and Christine, shopping in Nottingham, cruising the Eastern Mediterranean with MSC cruises. So sad to learn of your passing Phil far too soon, RIP love always bro.

Uncle Phil, not only my uncle but my God Father too! As Sarah said you may have been on the other side of this world but always in our thoughts, I remember writing you an invitation to our wedding never thinking you could come but there you were! Something I will never ever forget! I truly wish I could have been there for you aunty Chris but we will be thinking of you and sending all our love xxxxxxx
