HAUGHEY, Peter Edgar:
(Heriot) Peacefully at Resthaven Village, Gore, on Sunday, December 19, 2022, aged 90 years. Loved husband of the late Maureen, cherished father and father-in-law, of Quentin and Ness (Australia), Jacinta and the late Jim (Te Anau), David and Nicole (Palmerston North), and much treasured Grandad of Natasha and Jacob, Eilish, Joshua and Shania; Finn, Ben and Kate.

Mass of thanks giving to celebrate Peter's life will be held at the Church of Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Wednesday, December 21 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Peter's service for Hospice Southland. Messages to 18 Mathesons Corner Road Heriot, RD2, Tapanui 9587.

I will not forget Peter's music with the Heriot Music and Drama Group-his willingness to take on the task of accompanying our singers for several shows, after years of not touching the piano. Maureen was so pleased and proud. Great job! There is a time for every purpose under Heaven. May love surround you at this time.
