Pat passed away at Timaru Hospital on January 27, 2025, with family and friends by her side. Loved daughter of the late Harold and Daphne Evans, wife of the late R. J (Herb) Gilchrist, and the late Peter Weir. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Trev Kane, Robert Gilchrist, Nana of Laura Kane and Jordyn (Alice) Gilchrist, and Great-Nana of Clover Fairbrass. Loved godmother of April Haayema, long time friend of Mike and Helen Boyes and family. Adored dog mum of Mikey the poodle. At Pat's request, a private cremation has been held. The family would like to thank all of her friends, everyone at PSS, the Pet Connection people, staff of Timaru Hospital ED and St John's ambulance for their kindness and support.
