It´s amazing how many people one person´s life touched. And we thought we were the only family you knew!
We thank you for your time, friendship, advice, patience with 3 children on your driveway, your `slow down´ signs and the rocks guarding your grass edges. Home made sausages and butchering skills, cherry growing, mid drift jabs for the boys and a wee pinch under the arm for me. You were definitely a huge part of our Waitawa Heights driveway family. Thank you Marg for sharing him. The memories you left us and our children will live forever in our hearts. RIP Norm.

Norm was a great dancer and has now hung up his dancing shoes! We had such a lot of fun learning Rock & Roll together, especially our favourite Rock & Roll Waltz. He will be sadly missed. Condolences to the family.

Many happy memories of our Rugby days

It is with great sadness to hear today Norm passed just before his 98th Birthday. We feel as a family we were very fortunate to have Norm as our neighbour. Norm was special and a very dear friend. Always ready to help and share his knowledge. We loved it when he would join us for a cup of tea in his old home on Pleasant Point Road. We will remember Norm with smiles on our faces and the laughter we shared. Norm was special and we loved his company. We will miss him Joe Carol Melanie and Greg Baker

I enjoyed getting to know Norm when he came into Demco to get a new tapestry and or supplies. Some great discussions were to follow over the years. Deepest sympathy to Norms family.

Was saddened to read of Norms death this morning. Saw him just a week ago and he was still strutting the hallway and had his cheeky humour as always. RIP Norm you had a great innings and were an inspiration to all who knew you.
