On behalf of the Coxhead family-David and Judy in spirit, and myself, Christina, and William, we are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear family friend, Win Parkes, and feel incredibly fortunate to have shared so many wonderful moments with her. Personally, I want to express how lucky we feel that Win met my children, Alice, Amelie, Zoe, and Caitlin in Timaru in 2021.

Together, we enjoyed the Forest and Bird Kids Conservation Club activities and embarked on a memorable adventure around Timaru. Adventures were a recurring theme whenever our families came together, and Win was never one to sit still. Big ideas and ambitious projects led us on extraordinary ventures, like gold mining in the Nevis, beautifully captured in the albums Win artfully created.

It´s extraordinary to think that our album is just one of many that document the countless adventures Win and Ross shared with their family and friends. Win´s life was a testament to exploring, caring, learning, loving, and laughing-all with a sense of purpose. Her legacy lives on in the projects she initiated and in the hearts of those who knew her.

So saddened to learn of Win's passing. Win was very community minded and her presence will be greatly missed. Warmly remembered.

Liana and I send you our very sincere condolences at the loss of Win. We knew Ross and Win from the very early days of their relationship and have been friends with them ever since those halcyon days. And sadly, we will now not have the pleasure of a visit from Win, planned for December. Win's passing will leave a very big gap in your lives, and also in the lives of the many many friends that had the pleasure of knowing her, and Ross. Unforgetable people, and it has been a privilege to have known them.
Sincerely, Garth and Liana Cockerill.
