Nichol TAYLOR Obituary
Cherished husband of Liz for 57 years. Adored father, father-in-law and grandad of Michael; Paula, Sean, Jack, and Charlie Goodwin; Nikki, Blair, Kate, Daniel, and Tom Poulter. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Joan, and Wendron (dec) Wilkie, Denise and Bill Clark (both dec), Wattie (dec) and Heather, Dick (dec) and Anne Thompson. Loved by all his nieces and nephews. Friend to many. A service to celebrate Nichol's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Wednesday, April 8, at 1.30pm. A livestream of the service is available, please email [email protected] or call 03 6862148. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Dearest Liz and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Nichol's passing, he was such a wonderful character and I have very fond memories of you both from my childhood, whether that be at the barbers, rugby, squash or BBQs at home. Please know I am thinking of you all and sending my love. Rest Easy Nichol xx

To Liz and family, our thoughts are with you.
I first met Nichol 55 years ago when I got an after-school job in his barber shop.
Over the years, whether it was with Star rugby or cricket, or the Timaru Squash Club, Nichol was always a decent, fun, genuine, `good bugger´.
His contribution to life in Timaru has been immense.
I feel grateful I was able to see him recently and talk over old times.
RIP my friend. You will be missed.
