Myra BENNET Obituary
Loved daughter of the late Myra and Raymond Ancell. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy and Gerald (both dec), Raymond and Lorraine (both dec), Mervyn (dec), and Frances, Kevin and Maureen, and Colleen. The Service celebrating Myra's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Timaru Cemetery. Thank you very much for the wonderful and thoughtful care provided by Access, district nursing staff, the palliative care team, and Dr Small. We were saddened to read of Myras passing, a very special lady who will be missed by many.
Not only did the Ancell's live across the road from my Dad (Ray Egan), Myra, Dad and I all worked for the Post Office for many years.
It was lovely to catch up with her at the Annual Get-together each year.

Another life member gone to create a new Association and watch down over us at carnival time.
A woman with a kind smile and pleasant to everyone she met. She gave our money away with that pleasant smile and we loved her for it.
