To Murray´s family
I was saddened to hear that Murray had passed away. He was the perfect neighbour always had a smile and a wave.
I always knew what time it was when he headed up the drive and downtown for coffee in the car then later on his mobility scooter.

Very sorry Doreen to hear Murray has now departed this life. Memories of you both from Peter and myself go a long way back don't they. Peter died in 2008. Pauline De'Ath.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Murray Vance, a respected mentor, colleague, and friend.
Murray´s guidance and support touched the lives of countless principals and teachers across the Mid and South Canterbury region. His wisdom, compassion, and steady leadership helped shape not only strong schools but also confident educators who continue to carry his influence forward.
Murray had a special gift for seeing potential in others and encouraging them to strive for excellence while staying true to their values. His legacy of kindness, professionalism, and dedication will long be remembered by all who had the privilege to work alongside him.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Murray´s family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His impact on education and the many lives he uplifted will never be forgotten.
