Dear Michael
I miss you so much..even our arguments..I miss seeing you happy over something that interested you..and there was a lot.i miss you enjoying my cooking..I even miss you telling me off about something and I wish wish you were to tell me what your Grandies were up to..you were so proud of them. But I know we will meet again my bro..I knew your kind heart and how music stirred your deep sensitive Soul. GOD holds you in the palm of his hand until we meet again.

Wishing all the Brown family sincere condolences with much love & big hugs....

I have great sadness on hearing & reading about Michael's suffering & that of his wife & family particularly....

You are all often on my mind from early childhood days growing up living next door in Tyne Street, Marchweil, Timaru- never forgotten as only neighbours can be from that era....

A close bond with Michael as innocent kids conspiring in what we thought then as a secret hiding place in the hedge between our houses planning for him to be a priest & I a nun ( I wasn't even a,Roman Catholic!) & together we'd save the world working as missionaries together...lol.....

I remember you all but particularly wonder in my elder years how you as neighbours tolerated all the loud music & sometimes parties that eminated from our home in those days????...

We all grow up & go our separate ways but they were very special & wonderful times in our childhoods & youth when neighbours & communities were close & caring...as time went by my family & I often remembered the Brown family & reminisced about those good old Tyne Street days through all the ups & downs of life ....

My thoughts go to Michael's wife, children, grandchildren, suffering through Michael's terrible illness
& wish you much solace & love to give you strength in your grief in knowing that many others will go on remembering him well as you also will but also so grateful he has been so well cared for & loved & that he is now resting in peace....
Kindest regards to all the family.

To Jess and family
Your dad was a very nice neighbor always up for a chat over the fench. I am sad to hear of his passing when he was just settling into retirement and looking forward with plenty of projects on the go. He´ll be missed
