Merv you are remembered by all your old Navy mates. Sadly some have led the way ahead of you and others will follow. RIP Merv and our deepest condolences to Whanau and close friends from the Navy Club.

Merv you were one of Life´s special Friends to Jim & June, Caroline & Suzie. You were Jim´s greatest advocate, building trailers, lead for our yachts and always being there to launching. Jim´s scuba tutor. One could not have had a more talented and loyal Friend. Rest In Peace Merv. Always remembered with Love and respect.

Merv in the last many years we have been mates meeting through our local RSA so many years ago.
Tha battles we endured fighting for our place within the veteran community.
The restoration of the Timaru RSA WW2 25 pounder a project which because of your navy skills and leadership shown proved to be fruitful .
The final battle you were never destined to win.It was time for you to rest.your life's achievements finally gained.
