Mervyn Francis:
On January 16, 2016, peacefully at home with family. Dearly beloved and devoted husband of Elaine for 60 years. Much loved and cherished Dad to Denis (DJ) and Lynda and the late Mary, Alan and Julie, Karen and Kevin McCarthy, Robyn and Craig McKenzie (all of Oamaru), Darryl and Louise (Timaru). Loved Grandad-Wal of Jeremy, Melanie and Brad, Lisa and Hayden, Shane and Kim, Lauren and Ben, Bridget, and Callum. Great-grandad Wal toTahlia, Brylee, Paige, and Charlotte.

A service to celebrate Mervyn's life will be held at the Oamaru Club Hall, Severn Street, Oamaru, on Wednesday, January 20, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. Donations to Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated. Messages to 337 Homestead Road, 1CRD, Oamaru 9491.
