Melva WILLOCKS Obituary
At Timaru Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2023; aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife and companion of Ken for 66 years. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Ross and Jo (Christchurch), Sue and Ross Templeton (Ashburton), Grant and Shelley (Timaru) , and Julie (Christchurch), and loved gran of Carl, Kristie, Jack, Katlyn and James, Jenna, Izzy and Isaac. A service to celebrate Melva's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SC Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A livestream of the service will be available, please email [email protected] or phone 03 6862148. The family wish to acknowledge Rayleen Cowles, support person at Mountainview Village for her dedicated support, the fabulous team at The Croft, and the wonderful caring help provided by the nurses and doctors at Timaru Hospital.

Our thoughts are with you all as you remember and honour Melva. I taught at West Gore School with Ken and Melva in 1972 and 1973 and have many memories of this time. We are now friends of dear Jo and Ross. Our love goes to you all at this sad season of your lives. XX
